FIBERGLASS POOL

FIBERGLASS POOL

Fiberglass is one of the popular pool construction materials used both in our country and around the world. In the last few years, the fiberglass pool market has grown exponentially. Fiberglass material is porous, making it a solid option for pool construction.

Durability
The pre-molded glass fiber pool shell has a variety of layers of chopped glass fiber reinforced with polyester resin, vinyl ester resin and glass mesh materials for added power. Since their first produce, fiberglass pools have come a long way and become structurally strong.

Surface
Fiberglass pools have a smooth gel coating surface to the touch. Unlike concrete, fiberglass does not feel discomfort on bare feet. The non - corrosive surface also helps prevent the formation of algae.

Visual Appeal
Since pool molds come from fiberglass pool manufacturers, there is a limitation to the available shapes and designs. Also, due to shipping restrictions, they can not be too long and wide.

Maintenance & Repair
Fiberglass pools are ideal for the saltwater system as they contain no metals that can succumb to rusting. Water line cleaning or brushing is relatively easy compared to concrete. The risk of algae growth is limited.

Setup Time
One of the biggest benefits of fiberglass pools is how quickly they can be obtained. When the shell arrives, installation takes very little time.
